Meet Mark Sykes

Mark Sykes, M.Photog.Cr., CPP began his career in 1994. He has a passion to learn about his clients to show off their unique, individualized personalities. Nothing gets Mark more fired up than to design a session around a person’s love and fascination! He loves to show off who people are, what makes them unique, and tell their stories.

Mark continues to pursue his love for professional photography by learning new technics to push his art further. He is one of the most sought-after professional photographers in the BCS area. In 1999, he purchased his dream studio of 1.5 acres on the banks of Nantucket Lake in College Station. His exclusive Portrait Park boasts beautiful scenery and a large variety of backgrounds. After two decades of photographing weddings, newborns, and children, Mark discovered a passion for extreme high school senior photography. He loves how it pushes himself out of the box to create something completely different to share the spirit of the senior in the portrait.

Mark is a devoted father to his daughter Emily, and his fur baby; Maggie. His other passions are planes, woodworking, and cooking BBQ. He has developed his own line of BBQ rubs and sauces and after tons of great reviews, is working on bringing them to market.
